Upcoming Workshops Huron County
Project Learning Tree Pre k-8 Educators will learn how to use the forest to stimulate critical and creative thinking skills, improve decision making, and to instill a commitment to environmental awareness. Participants will be guided through activities with a focus on hands-on, interdisciplinary units on diversity, interrelation of systems, structure and scale, and patterns of change.

The Project Learning Tree Curriculum and Activity Guide provides educators with a wide variety of classroom and outdoor activities to help teach students about Michigan's forests and environment.
Interdisciplinary activities align to GLCEs. All 96 activities are teacher-tested and classroom-ready . Topics include: Diversity, Interrelationships, Systems, and Patterns of Change.
$10 includes lunch and Project Learning Tree Activity Guide for Detroit teachers.
